The Black Horse In the deep woods of the Eume, in which i spent so much time through these years, Chestnut, Oak and Hazel trees, made of this forest a shelter for mysterious beings. Alder, Yew and Willow see the horned Black Horse passing by, come Black Horse, come out in the dark night! You, demon of the woods, avenge these trees! Avenge this river that majestic runs, avenge these wolves, these sons of the woods, because the lords of the forest and the witches already left, for lands in which they are remembered.
